Congrats to Måns Zelmerlöw For Winning Melodifestivalen, Being Hot


We have a winner from Sweden! Congratulations to Måns Zelmerlöw for his crushing victory over the competition. And great job, Sweden, for choosing correctly! This is a song that will do very well at Eurovision in May.


The final results:
First place: Måns Zelmerlöw, 288 points
Second place: Jon Henrik Fjällgren, 139 points
Third place: Mariette, 102 points
Fourth: Hasse Andersson, 78 points
Fifth: Eric Saade, 77 points
Sixth: Linus Svenning, 59 points
Seventh: Isa, 56 points
Eighth: Samir & Viktor, 49 points
Ninth: Magnus Carlsson, 28 points
Tenth: JTR, 25 points
Eleventh: Jessica Andersson, 23 points
Twelfth: Dinah Nah, 22 points

Måns received 12 points (the highest amount awarded) from nine of out the eleven countries in the international jury. And he got 35.1% of the Swedish televote. All in all, it was an overwhelming triumph.


Also, Miss Conchita Wurst was there! Our reigning Eurovision queen was in Stockholm to open the Grand Finale and perform her winning song, "Rise Like a Phoenix." 

So now that Melodifestivalen is over, we have all of our contestants for Eurovision 2015! The Contest will begin in Vienna in a little over two months.
